43rd Sitting of the Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government
At the sitting held on 18 June, the Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government reviewed the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Ministries, submitted by the Government, in detail.
The Committee also discussed the Proposal of the Decision on the election of a judge to judicial office for the first time, submitted by the High Judicial Council, and decided to accept the High Judicial Council’s proposal to appoint a judge to judicial office for the first time at the Uzice Commercial Court, for which Katarina Bozovic was nominated.
Reviewing the Proposal for the election of Anti-Corruption Agency Board member, submitted by the Ombudsman and Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection, nominating retired judge Vida Petrovic Skero, the Committee members unanimously decided to ask the Anti-Corruption Agency to state whether Vida Petrovic Skero had been issued a measure for the violation of the Law on the Anti-Corruption Agency.
The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Petar Petrovic.
