42nd Sitting of the European Integration Committee

At the sitting held on 25 September, the members of the European Integration Committee reviewed, in principle, the Bill amending and modifying the Value Added Tax Law, submitted by the Government.


At the proposal of Committee Deputy Chairman Laszlo Varga, the Committee members added another item onto the agenda – the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Tourism.

The Bill amending and modifying the Value Added Tax Law was elaborated by Assistant Minister of Finance Natasa Kovacevic.

The Committee members unanimously accepted the Bill amending and modifying the Value Added Tax Law, in principle.

The Committee then deliberated on and accepted the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Tourism, elaborated by Vera Rovcanin Orlovic of the Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications.

The Committee members proceeded to designate representatives for the Conference “Economic governance and job creation in the EU and enlargement countries”, to be held in Sarajevo, on 15 and 16 October 2015.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Deputy Chairman Laszlo Varga.
