40th Sitting of the Foreign Affairs Committee

The 40th sitting of the Foreign Affairs Committee held on 12 April 2018, was closed to the public at the request of one third of the Committee members.


The Committee members interviewed the newly-appointed ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to the Slovak Republic Momcilo Babic, Head of the Standing Mission of the Republic of Serbia to the United Nations and other international organizations in Geneva Dejan Zlatanovic and the ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to the Republic of Iraq Uros Balov before their deployment to diplomatic duty.

The Committee adopted a number of initiatives for visits and reports on visits realised and noted the regular activities of the National Assembly’s standing delegations and minutes on other realized contacts. The Committee also noted the changes in the composition of the PFGs with Sweden, Russia, Austria, Germany, Montenegro and the UK.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Prof. Dr Zarko Obradovic.
