The session was held on 15 March, and was chaired by Aleksandar Lazarevic, chairman of the Committee.

The Committee resolved to send a circular letter to chairpersons of Deputies’ Groups inviting them to call on all deputies to set aside one day’s salary to help with the reconstruction of the fire-damaged monastery.

The Committee proposed that reconstruction could be financed continually through additional postage stamps or telephone charges.

It was also resolved to establish close co-operation of the Committee with the Hilandar Committee, formed at the Ministry of Culture, and with Belgrade-based Hilandar Foundation.
