3rd session of the Children’s Rights Sub-Committee
At its third session, held on 7 July, the Children’s Rights Sub-Committee discussed the Bill Amending and Modifying the Labour Act.
At its third session, held on 7 July, the Children’s Rights Sub-Committee discussed the Bill Amending and Modifying the Labour Act. Special attention was paid to the right of women with three or more children to take time off work.
The Sub-Committee is to ask the Committee on Labour, Ex-Servicemen’s and Social Issues, as the appropriate Committee, to submit to the National Assembly amendments that would regulate the right of women with three or more children to take time off work and further define provisions on the coming into effect of certain articles of the Act.
Officials of the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Policy, the Children’s Rights Council and the Committee on Labour, Ex-Servicemen’s and Social Issues took part in the session of the Sub-Committee.
