38th Sitting of the Culture and Information Committee

At the sitting held on 11 February, the members of the Culture and Information Committee interviewed the candidates for member of the Council of the Regulatory Authority for Electronic Media proposed by the authorized nominator competent committee of the Assembly of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina and authorized nominator associations of electronic media publishers and associations of journalist in the Republic of Serbia.


The Committee members interviewed Slobodan Cvejic and Slavisa Grujic proposed by the competent committee of the Assembly of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina, and Biljana Ratkovic Njegovan and Visnja Arandjelovic, proposed by the associations of electronic media publishers and associations of journalist in the Republic of Serbia.

Following the interview, the Committee forwarded a List of candidates for member of the Council of the Regulatory Authority for Electronic Media to the National Assembly with the proposal that it be handled under urgent procedure to allow the unimpeded operation of the independent regulatory body.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Mirko Krlic and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Borisav Kovacevic, Prof. Dr Marko Atlagic, Srbislav Filipovic, Natasa Mihailovic Vacic, Dragana Kostic, Snezana Paunovic, Aleksandar Jugovic, Prof. Dr Snezana Bogosavljevic Boskovic and Stanija Kompirovic, as well as MP Marijan Risticevic.
