38th Sitting of the Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government

At the sitting held on 17 July, the members of the Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government considered the Proposal of the Decision on the election of judges to judicial office for the first time, submitted by the High Judicial Council.


The Committee members decided to propose that the National Assembly accept the Proposal of the Decision on the election of judges to judicial office for the first time at the Commercial Court in Belgrade, Valjevo, Zrenjanin, Kragujevac, Kraljevo, Leskovac, Nis, Pozarevac and Sombor.

The Committee members went on to consider the Proposal of the Decision on the election of judges to judicial office for the first time at the Administrative Court and Commercial Court in Novi Sad, submitted by the High Judicial Council. The Committee members decided to propose that the National Assembly accept the Decision Proposal.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Petar Petrovic and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Aleksandra Majkic, Slavisa Bulatovic, Doc. Dr Mihailo Jokic, Nedjo Jovanovic, Jovan Palalic, Miletic Mihajlovic, Djordje Komlenski, Balint Pasztor and Stanija Kompirovic.
