The Bill amending and modifying the Republic of Serbia 2019 Budget Law, Section 30 – Ministry of Labour, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs was presented by representatives of the Ministry of Labour, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs and Ministry of Finance who said that the income and expenditure allocated for Section 30 have been revised i.e. raised in comparison to that allocated in the 2019 Budget Law viz. Section 30 is allocated 134,328,522,000 RSD which is about 10 billion more than originally allocated in the 2019 Budget Law. The raise mostly concerns child protection which has been revised by 8 billion RSD and the work of foster parents i.e. support for foster families and children without adequate parental care. Part of the funds is earmarked for welfare salary raise - 9% and raise of salaries of medical personnel employed in the sector by the same percentage as other medical personnel working in the healthcare system.

Following a brief debate the Committee members proposed, by majority vote, that the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending accept the Bill amending and modifying the Republic of Serbia 2019 Budget Law, Section 30 – Ministry of Labour, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs.
