36th session of the Privatisation Committee
At its session held on 21 February 2005, the Privatisation Committee of the National Assembly endorsed the Report of the Ministry of the Economy on the Activities of the Privatisation Agency for January, along with its associated Programme of Activities for February 2005.Members of the Privatisation Committee discussed the Operations Plan of the Privatisation Agency for 2005, and reports of the Privatisation Agency on the fulfilment of contractual obligations of buyers at Novi Pazar-based Oktan Pro, Arandjelovac-based Vencac and Kursumlija-based 7. juli.

Members of the Privatisation Committee discussed the Operations Plan of the Privatisation Agency for 2005, and reports of the Privatisation Agency on the fulfilment of contractual obligations of buyers at Novi Pazar-based Oktan Pro, Arandjelovac-based Vencac and Kursumlija-based 7. juli.
The Committee discussed the request of the Workers’ Resistance Movement from Kragujevac for the payment of debts outstanding to employees of the former Zastava Group, and recommended the Ministry of the Economy to take into account these debts in its plans for restructuring the company. The minutes from the meeting are to be forwarded to the Committee on Labour, Ex-Servicemen’s and Social Issues, as it was assessed that the Workers’ Resistance Movement request contained issues from the field of competence of that body.
