34th Sitting of the Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government

At the sitting held on 18 March, the members of the Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government unanimously accepted the proposal to add the two following items onto its agenda: Proposal of the Decision on the election of a judge to the Misdemeanour Appellate Court and the Request for Termination of Office of President of Pancevo Basic Court.


The Committee members then proceeded to discuss the Proposal of the Decision on the election of judges to judicial office for the first time, submitted by the High Judicial Council, and the Proposal for the election of Anti-Corruption Agency Board member, submitted by the Government.

The Proposal of the Decision on the election of judges to judicial office for the first time, submitted by the High Judicial Council, nominates the following for judges at the Nis Basic Court: Dujakovic Darko, Mijajlovic Julija, Radivojevic Ana, Savic Cvetanovic Tamara, Stankovic Jelena, Stanojkovic Dalibor, Uvalin Jelena, Milovanovic Ivana, Simic Marta, for judges at the Novi Sad Basic Court: Gazivoda Andjelka, Djuric Milica, Josifovic Ivana, Nadrljanski Sinisa, Pakledinac Tatjana, Radovanovic Djordje, Tadic Biljana, Bozovic Bojan, and for judge at the Sjenica Basic Court Vuckovic Ljubodrag.

Dr Dragan Mitrovic was nominated for Anti-Corruption Agency Board member by the Government

The High Judicial Council formulated the Proposal of the Decision on the election of a judge to the Misdemeanour Appellate Court nominating Maja Vadnjal, deputy public prosecutor at the First Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office in Belgrade.

The Committee members adopted the Proposal of the Decision on the election of judges to judicial office for the first time, Proposal for the election of Anti-Corruption Agency Board member, Proposal of the Decision on the election of a judge to the Misdemeanour Appellate Court and the Request for Termination of Office of President of Pancevo Basic Court.

The sitting was attended by Miroljub Tomic, judge and elective member of the High Judicial Council.

The sitting was chaired by Petar Petrovic, Committee Chairman.
