33rd session of the Justice and Administration Committee
At its thirty-third session, held on 22 June, the Justice and Administration Committee discussed and in principle endorsed the Bill Amending and Modifying the Judges Act, the Bill Amending and Modifying the Public Prosecutor Act, the Bill Amending and Modifying the Court Fees Act, the Bill Amending and Modifying the Act on the High Judicial Council, the Bill Amending and Modifying the Act on the Organisation and Powers of Public Authorities in Suppressing Organised Crime, Bill Amending and Modifying the Act on the Organisation and Powers of Public Authorities in War Crimes Proceedings, and the Bill Amending and Modifying the Act on the Organisation and Powers of Public Authorities in Suppressing High-Technology Crime.
At its thirty-third session, held on 22 June, the Justice and Administration Committee discussed and in principle endorsed the Bill Amending and Modifying the Judges Act, the Bill Amending and Modifying the Public Prosecutor Act, the Bill Amending and Modifying the Court Fees Act, the Bill Amending and Modifying the Act on the High Judicial Council, the Bill Amending and Modifying the Act on the Organisation and Powers of Public Authorities in Suppressing Organised Crime, Bill Amending and Modifying the Act on the Organisation and Powers of Public Authorities in War Crimes Proceedings, and the Bill Amending and Modifying the Act on the Organisation and Powers of Public Authorities in Suppressing High-Technology Crime.
The Bills were presented by the Minister of Justice, Zoran Stojkovic.
The Committee discussed amendments submitted to the Bills discussed. The Committee and the Government endorsed seven amendments submitted to the Bill Amending and Modifying the Act on the Organisation and Powers of Public Authorities in Suppressing High-Technology Crime, thereby making them integral parts of the Bill. The remaining amendments were not endorsed.
