33rd Sitting of the Committee on Administrative, Budgetary, Mandate and Immunity Issues

At the sitting held on 3 June 2025, the members of the Committee on Administrative, Budgetary, Mandate and Immunity Issues considered the resignations tendered to the post of MP by Aleksandar Antic and Prof. Dr Aleksandra Pavlovic Markovic.

The Committee ascertained that the situation falls under Article 131, paragraph 2, item 6 of the Law on Election of MPs which lists resignation as a reason for the termination of an MP’s term of office.

As an MP’s term of office is terminated on the day they tender their resignation, as stipulated by Article 132 paragraph 5 of the Law on Election of MPs, the Committee adopted a Report proposing that the National Assembly note the termination of said MPs’ term of office, in line with Article 133 of the same law.

The Committee then considered and granted consent to the request submitted by MP Sanja Calovic to exercise the right to monthly cost compensation for apartment lease in Belgrade and the right to compensation for living separately from her family.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Milenko Jovanov, and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Marko Milosevic, Branimir Petrovic, Olja Petrovic, Djordje Komlenski, Dane Stanojcic, Goran Milic, Aleksandar Jugovic, Igor Jaksic, Stefan Janjic, Branko Lukic and Stefan Kitanovic.
