33rd Sitting of the Committee on Administrative, Budgetary, Mandate and Immunity Issues

At the sitting held on 24 October 2023, the members of the Committee on Administrative, Budgetary, Mandate and Immunity Issues considered the Decree of the Republic Electoral Commission on the allocation of an MP’s term of office for the purpose of filling a vacant seat at the National Assembly.

Having reviewed the Decree of the Republic Electoral Commission and Certificate on the election of MP Mladen Grujic, elected from Electoral List “ALEKSANDAR VUCIC – TOGETHER WE CAN DO ANYTHING”, the Committee proposed that the National Assembly note the verification of the newly-elected MP’s term of office.

The Committee members also reviewed and gave a positive opinion to the request submitted by MP Dr Darko Laketic, to assume another public post in addition to that of MP viz. member of the Academy of Applied Studies in Belgrade.

The Committee members then considered and granted consent to the request submitted by MPs Borko Puskic and Milan Jakovljevic to exercise the right to monthly cost compensation for apartment lease in Belgrade and compensation for living separately from their families.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Milenko Jovanov, and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Dr Ugljesa Mrdic, Aleksandar Mirkovic, Radmila Vasic, Radovan Arezina, Ana Miljanic, Dr Vesna Ivkovic, Aleksandar Markovic, Zivota Starcevic, Veroljub Matic and Dragana Radinovic.
