32nd Sitting of the Foreign Affairs Committee

At the sitting held on 5 March, the Foreign Affairs Committee members noted the regular activities of the National Assembly’s standing delegations in the upcoming period and adopted the reports on visits and contacts realised in the previous period.


The Committee members also noted the conclusions of the Fourth meeting of the chairpersons of the foreign affairs committees of the parliaments of Montenegro, Serbia, Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina and forwarded them to the National Assembly’s Environmental Protection Committee and European Integration Committee.
The Committee members proceeded to conduct an interview with the newly-appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to the Republic of Belarus, Veljko Kovacevic, before deployment to diplomatic duty. Ambassador Kovacevic presented the political and economic situation in Belarus and the country’s general foreign policy trends. He also drew attention to the relations between Serbia and Belarus and the prospects for their further development, especially in the sphere of economy.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Milos Aligrudic.
