32nd Sitting of the Culture and Information Committee

At the sitting held on 7 December, the members of the Culture and Information Committee established the candidate lists for member of the Council of the Regulatory Authority for Electronic Media, and the lists of organisations that together form a single authorised proponent, universities accredited in the Republic of Serbia.


The Committee established the candidate lists for member of the REM Council nominated by organisations that together form a single authorised proponent, comprising the following candidates: Aleksandar Gajovic, Prof. Dr Vesna Baltezarevic, Dr Nemanja Tasic and Marko Lukic.

The Committee also ascertained the lists of organisations that together form a single authorised proponent, comprising the following universities: Megatrend University, University of Novi Sad and University of Kragujevac.

The Committee Chairperson said that, as stipulated by the Law on Electronic Media, the universities shall have a meeting within seven days to ascertain the final proposal of two candidates for member of the REM Council.

The Committee members went on to consider, in principle, and adopt the Bill on Cultural Heritage and the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Electronic Media, as well as the Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the European Union on the Participation of the Republic of Serbia in the Creative Europe Programme (2021-2027), submitted by the Government and presented by assistant ministers of culture and information Danijela Vanusic, Slavica Trifunovic and Stanko Blagojevic.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairperson Sandra Bozic, and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Zoran Tomic, Zeljko Tomic, Vuk Mircetic, Samira Cosovic, Rozalia Okresz, Prof. Dr Marko Atlagic, Snezana Paunovic, Lav-Grigorije Pajkic, Milica Obradovic, Aleksandar Cotric, Milos Terzic, Ljubomir Maric, Justina Pupin Koscal and Ivana Popovic.
