31st Sitting of the Committee on Administrative, Budgetary, Mandate and Immunity Issues

At the sitting held on 26 May 2021, the members of the Committee on Administrative, Budgetary, Mandate and Immunity Issues reviewed the resignation tendered to the post of MP by Jelica Sretenovic.

The Committee ascertained that the resignation of MP Jelica Sretenovic, elected from the IVICA DACIC – “Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS), United Serbia (JS) – Dragan Markovic Palma” Electoral List, falls within the situation set out in article 88, paragraph 1, item 2 of the Law on Election of MPs according to which resignation is listed as a reason for the termination of an MP’s term of office before the expiry of the term they were elected for, thus proposing that the National Assembly note the termination of the abovementioned MP’s term of office, pursuant to Article 88, paragraphs 3 and 4 of the same Law.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Dr Aleksandar Martinovic, and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Dr Sci.med. Darko Laketic, Dr Nina Pavicevic, Branimir Spasic, Miroslav Kondic, Viktor Jevtovic, Nikola Vojinovic, Dijana Radovic, Marina Ragus, Branimir Jovanovic, Nebojsa Bakarec and Ivana Nikolic.
