The Bill was presented by representative of the Ministry of Economy Dusan Vuckovic and the Director of the Intellectual Property Office Vladimir Maric.

The amendments and modifications aim to harmonise the existing Law with the newest EU regulations and eliminate certain deficiencies noted in its implementation. The Bill completes the harmonisation of the existing Law with relevant EU regulations.

The Committee members accepted the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Patents, in principle, by majority vote.
