30th Sitting of the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending

At the sitting held on 17 July 2025, the members of the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending considered a number of documents submitted by the National Bank of Serbia, National Bank of Serbia Governor’s Council and the Government of the Republic of Serbia.


The Committee accepted the proposal of Committee Chairman Veroljub Arsic to complete a joint single debate on items 1 to 9 on the agenda.

The Committee considered the Semiannual Monetary Policy Report (January-June 2024), National Bank of Serbia 2025 Monetary Policy Programme, National Bank of Serbia Governor’s Council Activity Report for the period 1 January – 30 June 2024, National Bank of Serbia 2025 Financial Plan, National Bank of Serbia 2023 Financial Reports accompanied by the authorized auditor’s report, National Bank of Serbia 2024 Financial Reports accompanied by the authorized auditor’s report, Annual Report on business transactions and results achieved in 2024, 2024 Annual Monetary Policy Report and the Financial System Stability 2024 Annual Report. The documents were presented by the Governor of the National Bank of Serbia Jorgovanka Tabakovic.

Following the debate, the Committee members unanimously accepted all the documents.

The Committee went on to consider the 2026 Fiscal Strategy with projections for 2027 and 2028, submitted by the Government and presented by Sasa Stevanovic, State Secretary at the Ministry of Finance.

Following a debate, the Committee members unanimously adopted the Opinion to accept the 2026 Fiscal Strategy with projections for 2027 and 2028 and forwarded it to the Government of the Republic of Serbia.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Veroljub Arsic and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Ana Beloica Martac, MA Svetlana Milijic, Tijana Davidovac, Stefan Kitanovic, Vojislav Vujic, Ilo Mihajlovski, Nevena Veinovic and Ugljesa Markovic.
