30th Sitting of the Committee on Administrative, Budgetary, Mandate and Immunity Issues

At the sitting held on 19 September, the members of the Committee on Administrative, Budgetary, Mandate and Immunity Issues reviewed the resignations tendered to the post of MP by Prof. Dr Milovan Bojic and Aleksandra Djurovic.


The Committee ascertained that the resignations tendered by MPs Prof. Dr Milovan Bojic and Aleksandra Djurovic fall within the situation set out in article 88, paragraph 1, item 2 of the Law on Election of MPs according to which resignation is listed as a reason for the termination of an MP’s term of office before the expiry of the term they were elected for, thus proposing that the National Assembly note the termination of the abovementioned MPs’ term of office.

The Committee members went on to review and give a positive opinion to the request submitted by MP Prim. Dr Milovan Krivokapic to assume another public office.

The Committee proceeded to review the notification submitted by the National Assembly Secretary General on the reprimands issued to maintain order at the Fourth Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, 11th legislature, and ruled by majority vote to fine MP Bosko Obradovic for one reprimand 10% of an MP’s base salary i.e. 6,829.78 RSD, and Goran Jesic for two reprimands 20% of an MP’s base salary i.e. 13,659.55 RSD.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Dr Aleksandar Martinovic, and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Dr Ana Stevanovic, Dusica Stojkovic, Dr Vesna Rakonjac, Branimir Jovanovic, Momo Colakovic, Milorad Mircic, Petar Petrovic, Goran Ciric, Dr Dragana Barisic, Nemanja Sarovic, Jelena Mijatovic and Marko Zeljug.
