26th session of the Culture and Information Committee
At its twenty-sixth session, held on 9 March, the Culture and Information Committee noted that the proposal for the appointment of the ninth member of the Council of the Republic Broadcasting Agency, submitted to the Committee by the Council of the Agency, was submitted in accordance with law.
At its twenty-sixth session, held on 9 March, the Culture and Information Committee noted that the proposal for the appointment of the ninth member of the Council of the Republic Broadcasting Agency, submitted to the Committee by the Council of the Agency, was submitted in accordance with law. The biography of the candidate, Tomislav Trific, is to be published on the website of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, while the proposal is to be forwarded to the National Assembly for further consideration.
The session saw the adoption of an amendment submitted by the Government of the Republic of Serbia to the Proposal of the Decision Designating Archival Material Kept at the Nikola Tesla Museum as the Nikola Tesla Personal Fund Cultural Heritage of Exceptional Interest
Members of the Committee discussed a submission from Filmske novosti, a state-run film company, asking for the status of the institution to be changed. It was agreed to continue the discussion at a future session, at which officials from the Directorate of Information would be asked to attend.
Officials from the Ministry of Culture took part in the Committee's session.
