24th Sitting of the Committee on Spatial Planning, Transport, Infrastructure and Telecommunications

At the sitting held on 17 October, the members of the Committee on Spatial Planning, Transport, Infrastructure and Telecommunications reviewed the 172 amendments the MPs had submitted to the Building Legalisation Bill.

The Committee and the Government decided to accept 21 of the amendments, and the Committee also submitted an amendment of its own, to article 32 of the Bill.
At the sitting, the Committee members also reviewed eight petitions the citizens and organisations had previously sent to the Committee and decided how to proceed in dealing with each of the petitions. The Committee went on to adopt the proposal to hold a public hearing on the development of 4G technologies. The date for the public hearing will be set subsequently.
