23rd Sitting of the Foreign Affairs Committee
The Foreign Affairs Committee’s 23rd sitting held on 25 July 2017 was closed to the public at the request of one third of its members.
The Committee completed an interview with the newly-appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to the Republic of Kenya Dragan Zupanjevac, before his deployment to diplomatic duty.
The Committee reviewed and adopted initiatives for visits, reports on realized visits and noted the regular activities of the National Assembly’s standing delegations, as well as the minutes on realized parliamentary contacts.
The Committee went on to set up a Parliamentary Friendship Group with Georgia to be headed Dubravka Filipovski. The Committee also noted the changes in the membership of the parliamentary friendship groups with Israel, Azerbaijan, Belgium, Belarus, Greece, India, Italy, Japan, Kazakhstan, China, Germany, Russia, USA, Turkey, Finland, France, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Spain, UAE and Montenegro.
The sitting was chaired by Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Prof. Dr Zarko Obradovic.
