22nd session of the Committee on Environmental Protection convened
Chairman of the Committee on Environmental Protection of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Sinisa Mitrovic, convened the Committee’s twenty-second session for 12 noon on Monday 28 July.
Chairman of the Committee on Environmental Protection of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Sinisa Mitrovic, convened the Committee’s twenty-second session for 12 noon on Monday 28 July.
The chairman of the committee proposed that the following agenda should be discussed at the session:
1. Low water level of the Danube, Sava and their tributaries and assessment of the threat to biodiversity (assessment and analysis of the degree of natural hazard occurring as a result of the unprecedented low water level along the entire course of the Danube) with a proposal of measures to repair the damage caused;
2. Discussion of amendments submitted to the Bill on the Environmental Protection System by: the Serbian Radical Party, the Government of the Republic of Serbia and Deputies Predrag Pitic, Dusica Andjelkovic and Zivko Selakovic.
