22nd Sitting of the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues

At the sitting held on 16 June 2025, the members of the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues adopted the decision that public hearings on the topic “Presentation of the Draft Law amending and modifying the Law on the Unified Electoral Roll, submitted to the Working Group for the Improvement of the Electoral Process on 11 June 2025 by MP Ugljesa Mrdic, member of the Working Group” be held in the following order:


  • The Fifth Public Hearing, 19 June 2025 in Nis;
  • The Sixth Public Hearing, 20 June 2025 in Novi Sad;
  • The Seventh Public Hearing, 23 June 2025 in Kragujevac, and
  • The Eighth Public Hearing, 24 June 2025 in Belgrade.
In line with Article 84, paragraph 5 of the National Assembly Rules of Procedure, in addition to the members and deputy members of the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues, the Committee will also invite all the MPs, the members of the Working Group for the Improvement of the Electoral Process, representatives of the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection, Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government, Ministry of the Interior, Republic Electoral Commission, CRTA, Centre for Free Elections and Democracy and Transparency Serbia, as well as the OSCE Mission to Serbia, Delegation of the European Union to the Republic of Serbia, Embassy of the United States of America, Embassy of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Federal Republic of Germany, Republic of Italy, France and the Kingdom of Norway, and all interested public.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairperson Milica Nikolic, and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Dijana Radovic, Olja Petrovic, Snezana Jovanovic, Nikola Bokan, Vesna Nedovic, Risto Kostov, Ana Krstic, Milos Gnjidic and Jasmina Palurovic.
