21st Meeting of National Assembly Economic Caucus
The Head of the Economic Caucus and National Assembly Deputy Speaker Prof. Dr Vladimir Marinkovic chaired the 21st meeting of the Economic Caucus dedicated to the amendments to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on State Survey and Cadastre.
“This regulation would contribute to the creation of better working conditions and motivate the employees to complete their legal duties within the stipulated deadlines and resolve the lagging administrative cases”, said Draskovic.
Prof. Dr Aleksandra Tomic is of the same opinion and believes the amendment should be given priority as it gives precedence to the profession. She said that the amendment will clearly define the profession, adding that the allocation of the employees’ salaries should also be defined.
In the course of the debate the participants made some corrections to the 14 amendments and agreed to review the revised texts at a coming meeting.
Besides the members of the Economic Caucus, the meeting was also attended by representatives of the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure, Ministry of Finance, Republic Geodetic Authority, NALED and IRI.
