20th Sitting of the Foreign Affairs Committee

At the sitting held on 17 June 2021, the members of the Foreign Affairs Committee adopted a number of initiatives for visits and noted the regular activities of the National Assembly’s standing delegations.


The Committee went on to deem useful the draft Framework Partnership Agreement between the Hungarian Parliament and the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, proposed by Hungary.

The Committee members also noted a Report on one realised visit, as well as parliamentary and other contacts realised.

The Committee noted changes in the composition of parliamentary friendship groups with Australia, Azerbaijan, Albania, Austria, Bahrain, Belgium, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, the UK, Greece, Georgia, Guatemala, Denmark, India, Iraq, Iran, Ireland, Armenia, Qatar, China, Cyprus, Cuba, Latvia, Luxembourg, Malta, Hungary, Germany, Norway, Portugal, Romania, Russia, the US, the Holy See, North Macedonia, Slovenia, Turkey, Finland, France, the Netherlands, Croatia, Montenegro, the Czech Republic, Switzerland, Sweden, Spain, the Sovereign Order of Malta, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Pakistan, Mauritius, Italy, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Egypt, Ecuador, Argentina, Japan, Morocco, Palestine, Saudi Arabia, Ukraine and Paraguay.

The Committee also elected MP Radovan Arezina Head of the Parliamentary Friendship Group with Romania, and MP Vuk Mircetic Head of the Parliamentary Friendship Group with Malaysia.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Prof. Dr Zarko Obradovic, and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Predrag Rajic, Djordje Todorovic, Dragan Sormaz, Stefan Srbljanovic, Ljiljana Malusic, Tijana Davidovac, Elvira Kovacs, Dr Milorad Mijatovic, Dubravka Filipovski, Dijana Radovic and Lav-Grigorije Pajkic.
