19th Sitting of the Security Services Control Committee
At the sitting held on 23 December 2013, the Security Services Control Committee considered and adopted the Security Information Agency Activity Report for the period 1 April 2013 to 30 September 2013 and the Report on the security situation in the Republic of Serbia.
The Committee members also stressed that they expected even more detailed reports from the Security Information Agency in future, which would offer a comprehensive overview of the Agency’s work and full insight into the realised activities and tasks within the Agency’s scope.
The Committee members again pointed out the need for full implementation of the Law on Electronic Communication and for the telecommunication operators to fully abide by the provisions of the Law, especially as regards the confidentiality of electronic communication, legal interception and data retention. The Committee once more underlined the need for a speedy adoption of by-laws for the implementation of the Law on Electronic Communication.
