19th Sitting of the Culture and Information Committee

At the sitting held on 13 November 2025, the Culture and Information Committee unanimously adopted the Decision to relaunch the procedure for proposing candidates for members of the Council of the Regulatory Authority for Electronic Media at the proposal of the authorised proposer, the National Councils of National Minorities.

Committee Chairperson Nevena Djuric said that it is necessary to restart the procedure for proposing candidates for members of the Council of the Regulatory Authority for Electronic Media at the proposal of the authorized proposer National Councils of National Minorities, bearing in mind that the National Assembly elected eight members of the Council of the Regulatory Authority for Electronic Media, while no candidate of the authorised proposer National Councils of National Minorities, received the required number of votes from the MPs.

In the continuation of the sitting, the Committee unanimously approved the text of the public call, which will be published in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia, the Politika daily and on the website of the National Assembly.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairperson Nevena Djuric and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Lepomir Ivkovic, Dusan Maric, MA Jadranka Jovanovic, Prof. Dr Marko Atlagic, Natasa Jovanovic, Mgr Akos Ujhelyi, Dr Jovan Janjic, Dunja Simonovic Bratic and Nebojsa Bakarec.
