18th Sitting of the Foreign Affairs Committee

At the sitting held on 9 October 2023, the members of the Foreign Affairs Committee considered a number of bills on the confirmation of several agreements.


The Committee members considered the Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of Saint Lucia on Visa Abolition for Diplomatic and Service Passport Holders; Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Republic of Serbia and the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela on Visa Abolition for Holders of Ordinary Passports; Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Republic of Cuba on Visa Abolition for Diplomatic, Official and Service Passport Holders; Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Republic of Guinea-Bissau on Visa Abolition for Diplomatic, Service and Special Passport Holders; Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan on Mutual Visa Abolition for Holders of Diplomatic and Service/Official Passports; Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Republic of Togo on Visa Abolition for Holders of Diplomatic and Service Passports; Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of Antigua and Barbuda on Mutual Visa Abolition and the Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the State of Palestine on Mutual Visa Abolition for Holders of Diplomatic and Service Passports.

The bills were presented by representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Mirjana Zivkovic, Assistant Minister of Consular Affairs.

Following a debate, the Committee members accepted seven of the bills unanimously, while the Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the State of Palestine on Mutual Visa Abolition for Holders of Diplomatic and Service Passports was accepted by majority vote.

The Committee went on to adopt three initiatives for visits, noted the standing delegations’ regular activities, adopted reports on visits realised, as well as noted the realised parliamentary and other contacts.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Borko Stefanovic, and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Draginja Vlk, Tamara Pilipovic, Nemanja Joksimovic, Usame Zukorlic, Jelena Obradovic, Sanja Calovic, Haji Milorad Stosic, Ana Miljanic, Marina Ragus, Sanda Raskovic Ivic, Jasmina Obradovic and Miodrag Linta.
