18th Sitting of the Culture and Information Committee

At the sitting held on 12 April, the members of the Culture and Information Committee reviewed the Collective List of candidates for members of the National Council for Culture.

The Ministry of Culture and the Media had submitted to the Committee a collective proposal of candidates, previously submitted to the Ministry by the authorized nominators.

Following a debate, the Committee ascertained that the candidate lists had been submitted by all the authorized nominators and that they had been collated in line with the provisions of Article 16 of the Law on Culture. The Committee forwarded the established collective list to the National Assembly because the requisites have been met to elect the 19 members of the National Council for Culture to a five-year period.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairperson Mirko Krlic, and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Dr Ana Stevanovic, Mladen Lukic, Prof. Dr Marko Atlagic, MA Jadranka Jovanovic, Dragana Kostic, Prof. Dr Snezana Bogosavljevic Boskovic, Vesna Marjanovic and Stanija Kompirovic.
