The Committee adopted the Report stating that resignation is a reason for the termination of an MP’s term of office before the expiry of the term they were elected for and proposed that the National Assembly note the termination of the term of office of MP Vladan Zagradjanin. Committee Chairman Milenko Jovanov was selected to act as rapporteur at the National Assembly session.

The Committee also considered the request submitted by MP Prof. Dr Mirka Lukic Sarkanovic and adopted the certificate allowing her to exercise the right to monthly cost compensation for apartment lease in Belgrade in the amount of 35,000 RSD, for a year starting 1 October 2024.

In the course of the sitting, the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection Milan Marinovic presented the Request submitted by the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection to be granted consent for the full-time employment of new staff in 2024. The Committee granted consent to the Request submitted by the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection to employ 12 new members of staff in 2024.

On behalf of the Commission for State Aid Control, Council member Dragica Jorgovic presented the Request submitted by the Commission for State Aid Control to be granted consent for the full-time employment of new staff in 2024. The Committee granted consent to the Request submitted by the Commission for State Aid Control to employ six new members of staff in 2024.

The Committee also discussed the notification of the National Assembly Secretary General on the reprimand issued to maintain order at the Second Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, 14th Legislature, held on 26 September 2024. The Committee adopted the Decision to fine MP Zdravko Ponos 10% of an MP’s base salary.

The Committee went on to discuss the notification of the National Assembly Secretary General on reprimands issued to maintain order at the Second Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, 14th Legislature, held on 27 September 2024. The Committee adopted the Decision to fine MPs Milos Parandilovic and Aleksandar Jovanovic 10% of an MP’s base salary, and MP Srdjan Milivojevic, for two reprimands, 20% of an MP’s base salary.

The Committee considered the notification of the National Assembly Secretary General on the reprimand issued to maintain order at the First Sitting of the Second Regular Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2024, held on 8 October 2024. The Committee adopted the Decision to fine MP Aleksandar Jovanovic 10% of an MP’s base salary.

The Committee members also considered the notification of the National Assembly Secretary General on the reprimand issued to maintain order at the First Sitting of the Second Regular Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2024, held on 10 October 2024. The Committee adopted the Decision to fine MP Jelena Pavlovic 10% of an MP’s base salary.
