17th Sitting of the European Integration Committee

At the sitting held on 8 May, the members of the European Integration Committee adopted the Railway Bill, in principle.


The Bill was elaborated by Assistant Minister of Transport Dejan Lasica who said that the Bill’s main goals are improving the efficiency of the Serbian railway system and integration into the European Union transport services market and transport system. The Bill is also important for the ongoing railway restructuring process, said Lasica.

This sitting was chaired by Committee Deputy Chairman Laszlo Varga.
