At its session held on 23 February, the Education Committee of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia discussed official submissions received by the Committee.
At its session held on 23 February, the Education Committee of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia discussed official submissions received by the Committee. The agenda included a petition submitted by the director of the Belgrade Forensic Medicine Institute, the request of the Radivojevic family for re-admitting Mladen Radivojevic to the student house of the Ljubo Micic school in Pozega, as well as a complaint submitted by Andrej Forkapic against the headmaster of the Jovan Jovanovic Zmaj Secondary School in Novi Sad.
The Committee also received proposals from the Association of Medical Care Teachers of Medical Secondary Schools of the Republic of Serbia for adopting amendments and modifications to the Secondary Schools Act, as well as the opinion of the Belgrade Chamber of Commerce and Industry on the draft University Act.
The chairperson of the Committee, Donka Banovic, acquainted members with an announcement sent by the Ministry of Education and Sports to the Education Committee in relation to the Belgrade Students’ Centre.
Members of the Education Committee who did not attend the meeting with the Assistant Minister of Justice, held on 3 February 2005, were presented with a note of the meeting.
