At the sitting held on 5 November, the members of the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending considered in principle a number of bills within its purview.
The sitting was attended by State Secretary at the Ministry of Finance Slavica Savicic and associates, who presented the bills.
Following a debate the Committee decided to propose that the National Assembly accept, in principle, the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Open-Ended Investment Funds Subject to Public Offering, Bill amending and modifying the Law on Alternative Investment Funds, Bill amending and modifying the Law on Contributions for Mandatory Social Insurance, Bill amending and modifying the Law on Republic Administrative Fees, Bill amending and modifying the Property Tax Law, Bill amending and modifying the Personal Income Tax Law, Bill amending and modifying the Law on Electronic Invoicing, Bill amending and modifying the Corporate Income Tax Law, Bill on Electronic Delivery Notes, Bill on the Confirmation of the Loan Agreement (Serbia Railway Sector Modernization Project Using the Multiphase Programmatic Approach Phase 2) between the Republic of Serbia and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development, Bill on the Confirmation of the Loan Agreement (Serbia Rail Infrastructure Urgent Renewals) between the Republic of Serbia and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development and Bill on the Confirmation of the Protocol between the Republic of Serbia and Hungary amending the Agreement between the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia and the Republic of Hungary on Avoidance of Double Taxation with respect to Taxes on Income, all submitted by the Government.
The Committee also adopted the Decision to organise a public hearing with the topic “Presentation of the Republic of Serbia 2025 Budget Bill and the Bill on the Republic of Serbia 2023 Budget Final Financial Statement” on Sunday, 24 November 2024, at 4 pm.
