16th Sitting of the Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Committee

At the sitting held on 24 June 2025, the members of the Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Committee considered the following:

  1. Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Activity Information for the period 1 January - 31 March 2025;
  2. State of agriculture;
  3. Bill on Seeds and Planting Material of Agricultural and Ornamental Plants, submitted by the Government, in principle;
  4. Bill on the Confirmation of the Memorandum between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Republic of Cuba on Cooperation in the Field of Agriculture, submitted by the Government.
The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Activity Information for the period 1 January - 31 March 2025, was presented by representatives of said Ministry, and the Committee adopted the Activity Information by a majority vote.

After a constructive discussion on the state of agriculture, the Committee adopted a conclusion, and in the continuation of the sitting adopted the Bill on Seeds and Planting Material of Agricultural and Ornamental Plants, submitted by the Government, in principle, and the Bill on the Confirmation of the Memorandum between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Republic of Cuba on Cooperation in the Field of Agriculture, also submitted by the Government.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Marijan Risticevic, and attended by the following Subcommittee members and deputy members: Radoslav Milojicic, Slobodan Ilic, Jozsef Tobias, Miroslav Aleksic, Milija Miletic, Veroljub Matic, Dejan Bulatovic, Dragan Jovanovic, Dusan Nikezic, Ivana Stamatovic, Zika Gojkovic and Ivan Karic.
