Speaking about the Bill amending and modifying the Law on the Privatisation Agency and the Bill amending and modifying the Law on the Right to Free Shares and Financial Compensation to the Citizens in the Privatization Process, Minister of Economy Zeljko Sertic said that the Ministry would strive to prepare all the legislature to be passed in the upcoming period in coordination and consultation with all the relevant factors of Serbia’s economic life. He also said that a strong economy is in everyone’s common interest.

The bills were elaborated by Assistant Minister of Economy Milun Trivunac.

After a discussion, the Committee members accepted the Law on the Privatisation Agency and the Bill amending and modifying the Law on the Right to Free Shares and Financial Compensation to the Citizens in the Privatization Process, by a majority vote.

The Committee members then proceeded to discuss the Bill on Determining Public Interest and Special Procedures of Expropriation and Acquisition of Documentation for the Realisation of the Construction of the 400 kV Electrical Power Transmission System “Trans-Balkan Corridor – Stage One”. The Bill was elaborated by Mirjana Filipovic, State Secretary at the Ministry of Mining and Energy.

Following a short discussion, the Committee members adopted the Bill on Determining Public Interest and Special Procedures of Expropriation and Acquisition of Documentation for the Realisation of the Construction of the 400 kV Electrical Power Transmission System “Trans-Balkan Corridor – Stage One”, by a majority vote.
