At the sitting held on 5 November, the members of the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending considered a number of acts within its purview.
The Committee members accepted the proposal of Committee Chairman Veroljub Arsic to complete a joint debate on items 1 to 9 on the agenda.
The Committee considered and accepted the Securities Commission 2023 Annual Activity Report and considered and formulated the Proposal of the Decision to grant consent to the Securities Commission 2025 Financial Plan Proposal, submitted by the Securities Commission.
The Committee went on to formulate the Proposal of the Decision to grant consent to the Republic of Serbia Energy Agency 2025 Financial Plan Proposal, submitted by the Republic of Serbia Energy Agency, as well as the Proposal of the Decision to grant consent to the Regulatory Authority for Electronic Media 2025 Financial Plan Proposal, submitted by the Regulatory Authority for Electronic Media.
The Committee also granted consent to the State Audit Institution 2025 Financial Plan Proposal, with projections for 2026 and 2027, submitted by the State Audit Institution, to the Proposal of amendments to the Fiscal Council 2024 Financial Plan and the Fiscal Council 2025 Financial Plan Proposal, submitted by the Fiscal Council, as well as the Proposal of second amendment to the Commission for State Aid Control 2024 Financial Plan and the Commission for State Aid Control 2025 Financial Plan Proposal, submitted by the Commission for State Aid Control.
The Committee then adopted the Decision on the establishment of the Working Group to ascertain the regularity of the procedure for the proposal of candidates for the election of a member of the Council of the Commission for State Aid Control in the following composition: Dr Zivan Bajic, as president and MA Svetlana Milijic, Nenad Krstic, Pedja Mijatovic and Dr Nenad Mitrovic as members.
The following representatives of the submitters also took part in the sitting: Marko Jankovic, President of the Securities Commission, Dejan Popovic, President of the Energy Agency Council, Rastko Stefanovic, representative of the Regulatory Authority for Electronic Media, Dr Dusko Pejovic, President of the Council of the State Audit Institution, Blagoje Paunovic, President of the Fiscal Council, and Dragica Jorgovic, member of the Council of the Commission for State Aid Control.
