14th session of the Privatisation Committee

At its fourteenth session, the Privatisation Committee adopted its suggestions for solving problems found in the privatisation of companies.


At its fourteenth session, the Privatisation Committee adopted its suggestions for solving problems found in the privatisation of companies.

The suggestions relate to pre-privatisation conditions, the privatisation procedure itself, post-privatisation events, monitoring privatisation as a whole, the development of shareholding and the financial market, as well as de-nationalisation. The suggestions are to be forwarded to the Chairman of the National Assembly, the relevant ministries and the Corruption Suppression Council.

The session also discussed reports submitted by the Ministry of Economy on the privatisation process of Jugoremedija Joint-Stock Company, the Zrenjanin-based pharmaceuticals maker, and on the status of Valjevo-based retailer Diva trejd Ltd.
