14th Sitting of the Environmental Protection Committee
At the sitting held on 3 March, the Environmental Protection Committee discussed and adopted the Bill on the Confirmation of the Protocol on Sustainable Tourism to the Framework Convention on the Protection and Sustainable Development of the Carpathians and the Bill on the Confirmation of the Protocol on Sustainable Forest Management to the Framework Convention on Protection and Sustainable Development of the Carpathians, submitted by the Government.
At the initiative of MP Ivan Karic, the Committee members decided to organise a public hearing on “Climate change as a reality in Serbia and the EU – challenges”. The public hearing is scheduled for 23 March 2015.
The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Dr Branislav Blazic.
