14th Sitting of the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues

At the sitting held on 3 February 2023, the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues considered the following bills submitted by the Government, in principle:

Bill Granting Guarantee by the Republic of Serbia in favour of UniCredit Bank Serbia Ltd. Belgrade, NLB Komercijalna Banka Ltd. Belgrade and ''AIK Banka'' Ltd. Belgrade under the debt of public enterprise “Srbijagas” Novi Sad, submitted by the Government;
Bill on the Regulation of Obligations of the Republic of Serbia toward the International Monetary Fund under the Stand-by Arrangement granted to the Republic of Serbia by the Decision of the Board of Executive Directors of the International Monetary Fund, submitted by the Government;
Bill on the Confirmation of the Guarantee Agreement (Serbia Cargo Rolling Stock Renewal) between Republic of Serbia and European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, submitted by the Government;
Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Republic of Senegal on Visa Abolition for Diplomatic and Service Passport Holders, submitted by the Government;
Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Republic of Angola on Mutual Visa Abolition for Diplomatic and Service Passport Holders, submitted by the Government;
Bill on the Confirmation of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Arab Republic of Egypt on Mutual Visa Abolition for Diplomatic, Service and Special Passport Holders, submitted by the Government;
Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the European Union and the Republic of Serbia on the participation of the Republic of Serbia in the Union programme Horizon Europe - the Framework Programme for Research and Innovation, submitted by the Government;
Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Republic of Angola on Cooperation in the Field of Security and Public Order, submitted by the Government;
Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan on Readmission of Persons Residing Illegally, submitted by the Government;
Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea on Cooperation in the Field of Defence, submitted by the Government;
Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Republic of Serbia and the European Union on the participation of the Republic of Serbia in Erasmus+ - the Union programme for education, training, youth and sport, submitted by the Government;
Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement among the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia and the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Albania, the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Hercegovina, the Government of Montenegro, the Government of the Republic of Serbia, and the Government of the Republic of Slovenia on the Host Nation Arrangements on the Status of the Balkan Medical Task Force Standing Organization and its Personnel, submitted by the Government;
Bill on the Confirmation of the Social Security Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Republic of Tunisia, submitted by the Government;
Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan on Military-Technical Cooperation, submitted by the Government;
Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh on Visa Abolition for Diplomatic and Service Passport Holders, submitted by the Government.

The Committee found all the bills to be compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairperson Jelena Zaric Kovacevic, and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Dubravka Kralj, Milica Nikolic, Dr Ugljesa Mrdic, Branimir Jovanovic, Zoran Tomic, Sanja Lakic, Nenad Mitrovic, Dr Zika Bujuklic, Pavle Grbovic, Olja Petrovic, Ljubinko Djurkovic and Dragan Vujic.
