13th Sitting of the European Integration Committee

At the sitting held on 18 October 2023, the members of the European Integration Committee considered in principle the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Prevention of Money Laundering and Financing of Terrorism, Bill amending and modifying the Law on Tobacco and the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Electronic Invoicing.

At the proposal of Committee Chairperson Elvira Kovacs, in line with Articles 92, 93 and 117 of the National Assembly Rules of Procedure, the Committee unanimously decided to withdraw items 4, 5 and 6 from the agenda viz. the Bill on Strategic Environmental Impact Assessment, Bill on Environmental Impact Assessment and the Bill on Risk Management of Major Accidents involving Hazardous Substances.

The Committee members went on to consider and unanimously accept, in principle, the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Prevention of Money Laundering and Financing of Terrorism. The Committee members also unanimously accept, in principle, the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Tobacco, presented by Tobacco Administration Assistant Director Jelica Cirovic, as well as the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Electronic Invoicing, presented by Vladimir Pejcic of the Ministry of Finance.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairperson Elvira Kovacs, and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Jelena Obradovic, Goran Milic, Ana Miljanic, Dubravka Filipovski, Milan Radin, Draginja Vlk, Dijana Radovic, Ksenija Markovic, Stanislava Janosevic, Dunja Simonovic Bratic and Zagorka Aleksic.
