13th Sitting of the Culture and Information Committee
At the sitting held on 10 January, the Culture and Information Committee adopted the Decision to launch the procedure for the nomination of candidates for member of the Council of the Regulatory Authority for Electronic Media by the authorised nominator competent committee of the National Assembly.
In addition, the Committee adopted the Decision to launch the procedure for the nomination of candidates for member of the Council of the Regulatory Authority for Electronic Media by the authorised nominator national councils of national minorities, by mutual agreement.
Pursuant to articles 10 and 11 of the Law on Electronic Media, a public call shall be published for the election of member of the Council of the Regulatory Authority for Electronic Media in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia, Politika daily and on the National Assembly website. The authorised nominators shall have 15 days to submit a proposal of two candidates for member of the Council of the Regulatory Authority for Electronic Media to the competent services.
The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairperson Maja Gojkovic, and was attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Aleksandra Cobraja, Djordje Vukadinovic, Milorad Haji Stosic, Prof. Dr Marko Atlagic, Natasa Mihajlovic Vacic, Mirko Krlic, Stanija Kompirovic, Jasmina Obradovic, Aleksandar Jugovic and Prof. Dr Snezana Bogosavljevic Boskovic.
