13th Sitting of the Committee on the Diaspora and Serbs in the Region
At the sitting held on 8 December, the members of the Committee on the Diaspora and Serbs in the Region deliberated on the Republic of Serbia 2016 Budget Bill – section concerning the Office for Cooperation with the Diaspora and Serbs in the Region.
At the beginning of the sitting the Committee members accepted the proposal of MP Miodrag Linta to add item any other business onto the agenda.
The Republic of Serbia 2016 Budget Bill - section concerning the Office for Cooperation with the Diaspora and Serbs in the Region was elaborated by representatives of the Office for Cooperation with the Diaspora and Serbs in the Region and the Ministry of Finance.
Following a debate, the Committee members accepted the Republic of Serbia 2016 Budget Bill – section concerning the Office for Cooperation with the Diaspora and Serbs in the Region.
Under item any other business the Committee granted consent for two visits to the Republic of Croatia – on 12 December to the municipality of Vojnic, and on 21 December to the municipality of Nova Gradiska.
The Committee members then went on to appoint members to the delegations to visit the municipality of Vojnic and the municipality of Nova Gradiska.
The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Goran Bogdanovic, and was attended by Committee Deputy Chairman Miodrag Linta, and members Prof. Dr Marko Atlagic, Nebojsa Beric, Milan Curica, Nenad Nikolic, Dr Aleksandar Peranovic, Aleksandar Markovic, Sinisa Maksimovic, Milorad Stosic, Dr Branko Djurovic and Aleksandar Cotric.
