At the sitting held on 10 November 2021, before moving on to the agenda, the members of the Committee on Education, Science, Technological Development and the Information Society paid their respects to the late Committee Chairman Academician Muamer Zukorlic with a minute’s silence.

The Committee proceeded to consider the following reports:

1. Report of the delegation of the Republic of Serbia on the completed negotiations for the conclusion of the Agreement between the Republic of Serbia and the European Union on the participation of the Republic of Serbia in the Erasmus+ programme - European Union programme for education, training, youth and sport, for the purpose of granting consent for the temporary implementation of the Agreement until its coming into force, submitted by the Government, and
2. Report of the delegation of the Republic of Serbia on the completed negotiations for the conclusion of the Agreement between the Republic of Serbia and the European Union on the Participation of the Republic of Serbia in the Horizon Europe Programme – EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation, for the purpose of granting consent for the temporary implementation of the Agreement until its coming into force, submitted by the Government.

On behalf of the submitter, the reports were presented by First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education, Science and Technological Development Branko Ruzic.

The Committee granted consent to the Government of the Republic of Serbia for the temporary implementation of the Agreement between the Republic of Serbia and the European Union on the participation of the Republic of Serbia in the Erasmus+ programme - European Union programme for education, training, youth and sport, pending its entry into force.

The Committee also granted consent for the temporary implementation of the Agreement between the Republic of Serbia and the European Union on the Participation of the Republic of Serbia in the Horizon Europe Programme – EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation, pending its entry into force.
