The Committee decided to submit a Report to the National Assembly that said situation falls under Article 131, paragraph 1, item 6 of the Law on Election of MPs according to which resignation is listed as a reason for the termination of an MP’s term of office before the expiry of the term they were elected for with the proposal that the National Assembly note the termination of the term of office of the abovementioned MP.

The Committee members also considered the Decree of the Republic Electoral Commission on the allocation of an MP’s term of office for the purpose of filling a vacant seat at the National Assembly. Having reviewed the Decree of the Republic Electoral Commission and Certificate on the election of MP Nenad Milipovic, elected from the Electoral List IVICA DACIC – PRIME MINISTER OF SERBIA, the Committee proposed that the National Assembly verify the newly-elected MP’s term of office.

The Committee members went on to ascertain the 2023 Assembly Budget Proposal in the amount of 2,853,101,000 RSD, prepared and presented by the National Assembly Secretary General Srdjan Smiljanic. The 2023 Assembly Budget Proposal is to be submitted to the Ministry of Finance for consideration.

The Committee also passed the Decision amending and modifying the Decision on the establishment and mode of operation of the Commission tasked with conducting the internal and public competition to fill the vacancies in the National Assembly Support Service, and granted consent to the Rulebook amending and modifying the on Internal Organisation and Job Systematisation at the National Assembly Support Service, submitted by the National Assembly Secretary General.

The Committee then considered the request submitted by the National Assembly Secretary General and passed the Decision granting consent for full-time employment at the National Assembly Support Service.
