136th Sitting of the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues

At the sitting held on 18 December, the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues considered the amendments to the Bill on Public Procurement, submitted by the Government.


The Committee found all 107 of the amendments submitted to the Bill to be compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

The Committee also found all 12 of the amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Companies, submitted by the Government, to be compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

The Committee members found all 14 of the amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Public Debt Law, submitted by the Government, to be compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

The 55 amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Prevention of Money Laundering and Financing of Terrorism were found to be compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

The Committee also considered the amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Deadlines for Settlement of Financial Liabilities in Commercial Transactions and found all 13 of them to be compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

The MPs had submitted six amendments to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Central Registry of Compulsory Social Insurance, which the Committee members found to be compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

The Committee found all 12 of the amendments submitted to the Bill amending the Law on Customs Tariff, submitted by the Government, to be compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

All of the 13 amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Games of Chance, submitted by the Government, were found to be compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

The Committee found all nine of the amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Tobacco to be compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

The MPs had submitted four amendments to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Central Register of Beneficial Owners, which the Committee members found to be compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

All of the 11 amendments submitted to the Bill amending the Law on Misdemeanours, submitted by the Government, were found to be compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

The Committee found all 13 of the amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Mediation in Real Estate and Leasing to be compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

The Committee also considered, in principle, the Bill amending and modifying the Law on the Serbian Armed Forces, Proposal of the Defence Strategy of the Republic of Serbia, Proposal of the National Security Strategy of the Republic of Serbia, Proposal of the Decision on the Engagement of the Serbian Armed Forces and Other Defence Forces in Multinational Operations outside of the Republic of Serbia Borders, Bill on the Confirmation of the Defence Cooperation Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Czech Republic and the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Migration Management, all submitted by the Government, and found them to be compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Djordje Komlenski and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Aleksandra Majkic, Zivan Djurisic, Vesna Markovic, Srbislav Filipovic, Krsto Janjusevic, Bojan Torbica, Milena Corilic and Petar Petrovic.
