12th Sitting of the Defence and Internal Affairs Committee
At the sitting held on 5 September, the Defence and Internal Affairs Committee reviewed the Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the United States of America concerning security measures for the protection of classified military data and the Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria on Mutual Exchange and Protection of Classified Data in Defence Matters.
The Committee also discussed the Proposal of the Decision on the use and participation of Serbian Army personnel in multinational operations in United Nations peace operation in the Central African Republic (MINUSCA) and European Union military operation in the Central African Republic (EUFOR RCA) in 2014, submitted by the Government.
The proposed documents were elaborated by State Secretary at the Ministry of Defence Zoran Djordjevic.
Following the discussion, the Committee members decided to propose that the National Assembly accept all three documents.
The sitting was chaired by Marija Obradovic, Committee Chairperson.
