The Legislative Committee of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia held its 121^st sitting, chaired by Milos Aligrudic, on 28 September.

The Committee discussed, and assessed as legally possible, the Bill Amending and Modifying the Act on the Budget of the Republic of Serbia for 2006, along with its associated Proposals of Decisions Granting Consent to the Decision Amending and Modifying the 2006 Financial Plan of the Republic Fund for Pension and Disability Insurance of Employees, the Decision Amending and Modifying the 2006 Financial Plan of the Republic Fund for Pension and Disability Insurance of Farmers, the Decision Amending and Modifying the 2006 Financial Plan of the Republic Fund for Pension and Disability Insurance of Private Entrepreneurs, the Decision Amending and Modifying the 2006 Financial Plan of the Republic Health Insurance Agency, and the Decision Amending and Modifying the 2006 Financial Plan of the National Employment Service. The Committee also discussed, and assessed as legally possible, a large number of amendments submitted to the Bill by deputies and the Government of the Republic of Serbia.

In addition, the Committee also discussed, and assessed as legally possible in principle, the Bill Amending and Modifying the Budget System Act, with amendments submitted by deputies and the Government of the Republic of Serbia.

The sitting also saw members of the Legislative Committee discuss and assess as legally possible, in principle, the Proposal of the Decision Amending and Modifying the Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, proposed by deputy Predrag Markovic. The Committee assessed amendments submitted to the Proposal by deputies Ljiljana Nestorovic, Meho Omerovic, and Milos Aligrudic, as legally possible.

In addition, the Committee revised the text of the Proposal of the Decision Amending and Modifying the Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia from a legal and technical standpoint.
