State Secretary at the Ministry of Defence Zoran Djordjevic, State Secretary at the Ministry of Interior Aleksandar Nikolic and Assistant Minister of Interior and Ministry of Interior Emergency Situation Sector Chief Predrag Maric, informed the Committee on the activities and measures employed by said ministries within their scope, to save the population and defend the threatened areas.

Following a short debate on certain parts of the Report, the Committee members decided to propose that the National Assembly should deliberate on the Report on the natural disaster – flood suffered by the Republic of Serbia and measures employed to save the population and defend the threatened areas from the flood, Chapter I, item 2, Ministry of Interior and item 3, Ministry of Defence. The Committee also formulated a Conclusion Proposal to be submitted to the National Assembly for discussion and adoption with the proposal that the National Assembly discuss it by urgent procedure pursuant to article 167 of the National Assembly Rules of Procedure.

Committee Chairperson Marija Obradovic was elected the Committee rapporteur to present the Conclusion Proposal at the National Assembly session.
