11th Sitting of the Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government
At the sitting held on 9 July, the members of the Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government discussed the Report on the natural disaster – flood suffered by the Republic of Serbia and measures employed to save the population and defend the threatened areas from the flood, submitted by the Government.
Zeljko Ozegovic, State Secretary at the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government presented the part of the Report containing the chief activities and measures employed by said Ministry within its scope, to save the population and defend the threatened areas from the flood.
Following a short debate during which the Committee members asked additional questions about certain parts of the Report, the Committee adopted the Report on the natural disaster – flood suffered by the Republic of Serbia and measures employed to save the population and defend the threatened areas from the flood, submitted by the Government, by a majority vote, accompanied by a Conclusion Proposal submitted to the National Assembly for discussion and adoption with the proposal that it be processed by urgent procedure.
The sitting was chaired by Petar Petrovic, Committee Chairman.
